Admired: Bristol Colab. I can’t believe I only recently discovered this place. This business basically supports local artists by providing a platform for creatives to promote and sell their work. I visited the store recently and was super excited to see lots of familiar pieces that I’ve spotted on Etsy. This is absolutely the sort of organisation I would love to get involved with!
Ate: Overnight oats have been the ultimate summer breakfast for me, because who wants hot porridge in summer?! I’ve been adding blueberries, crushed almonds and honey to mine. Delicious.
Blogged: Some of my favourite posts from the last couple of months are Pinspiration #15, Friday Favourites #14 and New Woven Wall Hangings. Take a look if you missed them!
Created: Some more woven goodness throughout June, but orders started picking up again during July so I’ve been pretty busy making those. I’d really like to get lots more new designs in the shop before Christmas so I’m sure I’ll be working especially hard from now on.
Designed: A few pages of wall hanging ideas that I’d like to start working on but I’ve been too busy the last few weeks to spend much time on anything new.
Felt: A little blue about the fact that this time last year we were in full on wedding planning mode and getting super excited for our honeymoon to California. This summer has been a lot less exciting in comparison and has literally passed by in the blink of an eye. I’m really determined to make the most of August before it starts getting chilly again. I love autumn but summer is way too short in England!
Listened: Bored to Death – Blink 182. A little late but I finally listened to the new Blink album. I love the single and had high hopes for the rest of the album but in all honesty I wasn’t blown away. This was definitely the best song on there.
Loved: The warm weather and occasional trips to the beach for chips and ice cream. Can summer just stick around for a bit longer please?
Noticed: I’ve taken about three photos so far this summer and finding appropriate images for this post was actually quite difficult. I’m going to try my best to document our August adventures since me and George have two camping trips booked for our birthdays!
Pinned: A lot of dreamy interiors.
Read: The Bones of You by Debbie Howells, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and After You by Jojo Moyes. I really enjoyed all of these books. I’m thinking of possibly starting to write up book reviews so I can go into more detail about each one, but I’m really not sure yet. Also I would love to know if you have any book recommendations!
Visited: The Cotwolds for our first camping trip of the year back in June. It was very pretty and relaxing. I’m super excited for more camping trips in August.
Watched: Casey Neistat. I finally checked out his videos and now I totally get why every other youtuber refers to him so often. The guy is so inspiring and I’m loving his vlogs.
How has summer been treating you so far?
Apologies for the lateness of this post. I got there in the end..
