This trip to Scotland actually took place at the end of September 2018, so please forgive me for the extreme lateness of this post. It was somehow left in my drafts for almost a year and completely forgotten about! This trip was so beautiful and was the very first time either of us had been to Scotland, so I decided to finally get my act together and share these snippets of our adventure.
We drove from Edinburgh to Fort William, Isle of Skye, Cairngorms National Park and back down to Edinburgh. We have a tonne of photos from this trip so below is just a small selection of my favourites. (These were all taken on my phone so please don’t expect anything of super high quality!)
On top of an extremely windy Arthur’s Seat!
Beautiful scenery on the drive to Fort William.
A not-so-magical view of the Harry Potter bridge..
Neist Point, Isle of Skye.
A very misty Old Man of Storr.
The beautiful Cairngorms National Park.
It was so nice to look back on this trip a year later. We loved every second of our time in Scotland and will 100% be going back.
Soon I’ll be sharing photos from a recent holiday in Europe where we visited Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, so keep an eye out for that!
Edinburgh is such a beautiful and photogenic place to explore, can’t wait to go back next week. Looks like you had a great weather for exploring Scotland, thanks for sharing
