NEW WEAVING & ETSY UPDATES

Autumnal Woven Pillow

Lately I’ve added a few new bits and bobs to Etsy, so I thought I would share them in one collective post. First up is this adorable little woven pillow. I had been waiting for an opportunity to use this gorgeous rust coloured yarn and as autumn was in full swing it felt like the perfect time. I sifted through my stash of wool and compiled this very autumnal colour palette, which I am very much in love with. I had no real design idea with this one, other than that I wanted to turn the weaving on it’s side to make vertical stripes, so decided to just weave away and see what I came up with. Sometimes I prefer to just make it up as I go along! It’s my smallest cushion yet, at just 10.5 x 9 inches, which I think makes it extra cute. It also looks lovely alongside my fox pillow (pictured a few images down).

My other updates are not quite as fresh and exciting, just new colour options for existing products. I think the sleepy cat looks beautiful in black and was very happy when a lovely customer got in touch and requested this pair of black kitties.

Finally a couple of new ukulele options in black and purple. I really enjoy using this adorable polka dot corduroy and will probably give in to temptation and purchase it in even more colours soon..

I hope you enjoyed seeing these little Etsy updates. This is a busy time of year for me, with Christmas orders in full swing, so I haven’t had many opportunities to blog. But I’m really looking forward to the new year when I can start working on lots of exciting new things again, which I can’t wait to share with you!
